Honestly?  I still think that Freya + 3 was the most difficult of all the achievements we've done.

Disclaimer:  There is bias in my statement as we were much more "on par" as far as gear goes for Freya + 3, whereas we outgeared Firefighter by a little bit before we did it.

Agreed.  Freya was the most difficult.  Mimiron was the most fun.  Vezzax was the most stressful (miss a kick and we probably wipe).  Yogg was an "on the edge of my seat" kind of fight as I didn't have him targeted in P3, so I had no idea where we were on the progress.  The threat management was really tricky on the adds too.

All in all, these raids were some of the most fun I've had in this game.     Bring on more hard modes!

I still have some bitchingly awesome screenshots from Mimi's firestarter. Everything but the spot I'm standing in covered in fire and more coming out of him, with all 3 parts together and the super-cannon tearing up to the side of me, while a blast shoots overhead to go hit the ranged tank and mines fly out everywhere.

I showed it to a non-gamer member of my family, and received a response of "How in the hell do you keep track of all of that?"

Now, is that something in Algalon's pocket or was he just happy to see you guys?
I know the Ulduar raid were mainly to get the drakes for you guys but it'll be a shame to not get a few attempt on Algalon. Besides Firefighter and Yogg +1/+0, Algalon would probably be up there in my favorites in Ulduar. Just a side note Alan, the 10 man I run with my friends used 3 healers for our Algalon; I would love to see you do better.

We played with Algalon for the duration of his timer last night.  On our first attempt, big opening crit, rogue goes splat.  OMFG that guy hits hard!!!  LOL
